Chief Justice Dr Willy Mutunga has effected transfer of 105 high judges a move that is seen as an action to fight corruption and improve inefficiencies.
Dr Mutunga, who is expected to exit office in June to pave the way for recruitment of his successor, had earlier complained of corruption in the judiciary and called for lifestyle audit of judges.
According to Dr Mutunga, some judges are lavishing in corruption proceeds, slowing down the wheels of justice.
The latest reshuffle saw judges moved from either division to another or from one station to another.
The reshuffle come at a time the chief justice also ordered judges handling disputes at Labour Relations and Employment Court to clear all the pending cases in a one-week crash programme, which commenced April 18 to 25.
